Starting point and objective
At a large recruitment customer, preparing candidate profiles is a recurring task. Information needs to be taken from source documents, put into the right design and checked before sending. This model explores how much time one user could regain if some of that manual preparation were removed.
A customer survey of the existing profile creation process provides the baseline. The supplied analysis uses 24 minutes per candidate profile. The model assumes 6 minutes to create a profile with talentkiwi.
From source material to finished profile
These product capabilities support the workflow. They explain where manual work can be reduced, rather than representing additional customer measurements.
Use existing information
CVs, references and interview notes provide the source material. Instead of copying details individually into a new document, the existing sources are used together to generate the profile.
Prepare it in the right template
talentkiwi structures the content in a defined template. Layout, language and branding do not need to be set up again for every candidate. Relevant strengths and suitability for a role can be highlighted.
Review, refine and send
The consultant reviews the profile and adds their assessment. Text remains editable directly or with AI. The result is then exported as Word, PowerPoint or a ready-to-send PDF with the selected supporting documents. Human review remains part of the workflow.
Calculation and assumptions per user
The calculation considers one user. Time saved per profile is multiplied by the assumed weekly volume and working weeks. The hourly rate translates that freed capacity into a modelled monetary value.
- Existing time spent per profile
- 24 min
- Assumed time with talentkiwi
- 6 min
- Candidate profiles per week
- 10
- Working weeks per year
- 46
- Assumed hourly value
- CHF 41.60
From one profile to annual potential
18 min × 10 profiles × 46 weeks ÷ 60 = 138 hours per year. 138 hours × CHF 41.6 = CHF 5,740.80 in modelled time value.
Basis: customer survey and supplied potential calculation. Profile volume has been adjusted to 10 profiles per user per week for this scenario; it is not a measured customer result. The 6 minutes with talentkiwi, working weeks and hourly value are also modelling assumptions. These figures show potential, not demonstrated cost savings. Licence and implementation costs have not been deducted; individual results may vary.
What the value means in daily work
The freed time can be used for candidate conversations, client contact or additional presentations. The CHF figure values this capacity at the assumed hourly rate. It is neither additional revenue nor an automatic reduction in payroll costs. More placements may follow from better use of time, but they are not an outcome measured by this calculation.
Evidence and limitations
The supplied original calculation uses 2.5 profiles per user per week. The scenario shown here explicitly increases that volume to 10 profiles. The underlying 24- and 6-minute durations, 46 working weeks and CHF 41.60 hourly rate are unchanged. This is not a demonstrated saving at this customer. Licence fees, implementation, varying document complexity and individual working practices are not included.
